New Year’s Inventory

wish-listWell, it’s that time of year again.  The time we reflect on all the events of the last year.  We resolve to let go of the things we don’t want and hope to find a way to get more of what we do want.

However, it’s never that clear cut.  How would we know what we want if we don’t experience some of what we do not like?  Like sunshine or rain.  It can sometimes be trial and error.  All of this may help you clarify your personal truth.

I really want to figure out what to leave behind this year and what I want to take into the New Year or create myself.

Here is my list for the New Year.

Leave behind:

  • Negativity
  • Complaining
  • Saying yes and regretting it later
  • Lack outlook on life
  • Putting everyone else first
  • Unhealthy eating
  • Not believing in myself
  • Feeling guilty

Take with:

  • Being authentic
  • Appreciating my creativity
  • Experience to guide me
  • Sharing Wisdom
  • Feeling Passion
  • Allowing my emotions to flow through me
  • Concern for environment
  • Compassion
  • Deep Listening

Create:

  • Appreciation for my personal growth
  • Acceptance of myself
  • Gratitude journal
  • Listening to my inner voice
  • Meditation Time
  • Cultivate my creativity
  • Nurturing self care
  • Eat healthier
  • Exercise regularly
  • Create abundance for myself and others
  • Opportunity for fun
  • Spiritual connection

I challenge you to take your own inventory of the past year and what you want to bring into your new year.  I’d love to hear some of the things that you want to leave behind as well as what you want for your new year.
